Gemma Cooper has 11 year’s operating theatre experience as a registered nurse and over 15 year’s experience in healthcare sales in surgical, cardiovascular and endovascular specialities. Gemma has significant experience in clinical education, training and mentoring of healthcare professionals in several companies and brings a genuine passion for sharing information to help our customers achieve excellent business and clinical outcomes. Gemma’s educational experience includes developing team training, facilitating and supporting education for nurses, surgeons and other healthcare professionals including workshops, labs, in-services and courses. Gemma is a product champion and has a thorough knowledge of the Matrix portfolio of products.

It is with great pleasure that Matrix Surgical, in conjunction with Dr George Hopkins announce the upcoming 2019 Advanced Bariatric Observation event dates.
Dr George Hopkins
What: Observation and Discussion with Dr Hopkins regarding his advanced bariatric surgical practice including the option of attending his obesity surgery clinic for an afternoon of consults and then observation of surgery the following day. Procedures may include primary and or revisional Gastric bypass, Sleeve gastrectomy. Glubran2 is an internal surgical glue used to pexy ommentum to the remnant stomach in LSG and to close Petersen’s mesenteric defect in Roux en Y gastric bypass.
